Systems Overview
Introduction
The Fugro Subsea Services Ltd IMS is an electronic, process based, integrated management system covering all the main activities of the company. The system is available via the company intranet and also on CD for remote sites. All the main business processes are mapped using flow diagrams. A user can drill down through these diagrams and access written Work Instructions at the lowest level.
Several alternative means of access are provided for documents and forms. The system meets all the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007 and BS EN ISO 14001:2004.
Processes
The processes in the IMS were defined by the Management team of Fugro Subsea Services Ltd to represent the main business processes used within the company. The basic interaction of the processes is shown at the top level with further interaction achieved by use of links within the processes themselves.
Business Processes
Each process has a member of the Management team as Process owner. This person is responsible for the ongoing updating, monitoring and improvement of the process and associated procedures, assisted by a process team made up of personnel who are actually involved in the process itself.
